How It Works
From documents to e-filed return
We start with clean books
If you're a bookkeeping client, your financials are already tax-ready. If not, we'll do a quick review and clean-up quote before proceeding.
You send us your documents
We'll send you a secure document checklist. Common items: prior-year return, W-2s/1099s, business income/expense summary, asset purchases.
We prepare and review
We prepare your return and send you a draft with a summary of what we found — deductions, credits, and any flags to be aware of.
You approve and we file
Once you sign off, we e-file your federal and state returns. You receive confirmation of filing and copies for your records.

The 'starting at' prices assume a straightforward return for a small business with clean books. Factors that increase price: multiple partners/shareholders, complex asset depreciation, multiple states, very high transaction volume, or books that need cleanup before we can prepare the return.
No. We accept standalone tax return clients. However, if your books aren't current, we'll need to either clean them up first (see our catch-up bookkeeping service) or work from a compiled income/expense summary. We'll let you know what's needed after a brief intake call.
For individuals: prior-year return, all W-2s and 1099s, Social Security numbers for dependents, records of deductible expenses (mortgage interest, charitable donations, etc.), and any notices from the IRS. For businesses: we'll need bank/credit card statements, QuickBooks/Xero access or a trial balance, and a list of fixed asset purchases. We provide a complete checklist after engagement.
